The aim is to go to the Newest Deviations page and leave some comments. If you want to take part, there's still time!
Comment Contest!EDIT: Winners Announced! This contest is no longer open.
So I reported a day or two ago that I had hit a milestone of comments. In celebration, I bring you a fun contest!
How to win?
Without spamming, make more comments within a week than any other participants!I will be keeping track of your comments and see who made the most.
How to participate?Fave this journal.
This will help spread the word and provide me with an easy way to keep track of all participants.
I will then confirm your participation. I need to do this manually, sorry! It'll only take roughly 8 hours at most, then I'll let you know you can get started
I don't think I'll win, because I'm really chilling out and trying to leave some nice feedback, but I think I'll continue this way even after the end of the challenge.
Anyway, I was not very fond of the "Newest Deviations", because I've never found anything really exciting. Only ponies, webcam photos and other stuff like this. Not that I'm against ponies, don't get me wrong, but it's nice to see cool pieces sometimes. I used to go to the "Popular 8 hours" to see new cool things, but with this contest I discovered that the "Newest Deviations" can be interesting as well.
Maybe I've paid more attention, maybe the new interface selects in a different way, I don't know. But heck! I've found LOADS of hidden treasures!
Afterall, even the most popular/cool/beautiful deviations should pass from the "Newest Deviations" page before going to the "Popular" ones, right?
But hey, I've talked too much!

Ugh... I hate that issue, what with the newest deviation category and popular in the last eight hours. You need to go through all the piles of terrible art in order to find the good ones. It takes hours for me to find something decent. Alright, alright, that's funny coming from me. I'll admit; my stuff isn't anywhere on the level of high quality art. However, at least my work isn't prone to causing face-palms. Some of the stuff there has really stung my eyes. Honestly, I'm very much looking forward to Deviant Art's More Like This when it's done from beta testing. It will save a lot of time for me by showing art that I like, and what I'm looking for. The preview of it has worked a lot better for me than Popular in the last whatever hours and newest deviations options.
Alright, I'm going to stop here before I start typing a long rant. Alright... calm... control... nice thoughts... happy place...
And don't worry, make as many rants as you want!
Don't tempt me...
