FULL VIEW PLEASE!

Apophysis 7x.15b and a little GIMP. I duplicated the PNG and set it to Soft Light 100%. The background is #030027, a very dark blue.

Thanks to *lindelokse's Bloom Tutorials. (both of them!)
I was studying some bloom fractals and I wondered how to make more defined petals. In my previous blooms, petals were a little bit vanishing. Now, after lot of trial and error, I realized how to make them more defined. In the first xform, I put both gaussian_blur and blur and it worked.
Now I have to realize how to make a defined bulge. It's not going to be easy! But I'm determined and I'm not afraid. Maybe I'll ask someone to help me.

Coccineus is the latin translation for the kind of colour I used. It's a particular shade of red.
