Apophysis Tweaking Guide by C-91 Apophysis Tweaking Guide by C-91
REMEMBER: IT'S A GOOD HABIT TO CREDIT YOUR SOURCES. WHENEVER YOU'RE TWEAKING, STATE CLEARLY WHOSE PARAMS YOU'VE PICKED. IT'S CORRECT, POLITE AND GRATIFYING.

:bulletgreen: Tutorial for Apophysis (it's not exactly a tutorial, so it should work on every version!)
:bulletgreen: Beginners guide.
:bulletgreen: Minimum knowledge of the software required.

(With minimum knowledge I mean you have to know something about xforms, adjustment and editor windows. The bare essentials. :D)

My second tutorial! :dummy: Even if calling it "guide" would be more appropriate. :shifty:
This is my answer to the debate whether the parameters sharing kills creativity or not.
It's my point of view and way to work whenever I got any interesting flames in my hands. Take it as a suggestion and not as the absolute truth, you can work in the way you prefer the most. :D

I want to thank `SuicideBySafetyPin and =f-ix, who chose to share their work with me, and all the people who knew I was writing this tutorial and wished me all the best. Thank you guys!

Hope you enjoy and hope it'll help! :dummy:

:bulletblue: If you notice anything wrong and/or want to suggest something, please send me a note and I'll try to fix as long as I can.

:bulletred: This is the tutorial I'm talking about ---> Tutorial - Gnarls by ^SaTaNiA

Nice tutorial, and it's good to see that I'm not alone in just playing around and experimenting. I still have a lot to learn, that's for sure. But from what you wrote above, it seems to be the way I am presently tweaking.

But one question please: near the end of your first tweak, you say "....I modified some features in the adjustment window and added a little blur in the 2nd xform using post_falloff2 ...." Could you expand on these changes a little better. I really like the final fractal, and it has an "air" that is what I'm trying to achive sometimes. It seems much more clearer, yet you say that you added a "little blur".

What am I missing, except for me to get back to tweaking more :)?

Thanks.

I learned a lot from this tutorial. But the biggest thing I've learned is "Wow, do I have a lot to learn." Thank you.
